    Ron, good to get a definite id on this figure. I have one as one of the generals with the Hinton Hunt French Cavalry which once belonged to Peter Gilder. he has lost his Marshals's feathers and while Murat seemed to be the most likely it's good to have confirmation - thanks, Clive

    I have entered a period of personal nostalgic intensity based on the old lead 20 mm stuff. So very glad I stumbled upon your Blog. When I was younger these figures were mythic and unobtainable and now that I am older, they remain mythic and unobtainable :) along with that whole universe of wargames and associated groups, shops and personalities. Somehow, gazing on your images lights a warm glow of happiness and contentment. Thank you for sharing. Robert Stearns
